This is our small try to teach and learn basic English.
English is the main common language to communicate with people across the world. English has become more important due to rapid development of computer technologies these days. Many of the books are written in English, and very unfortunately these books are not at all translated in Nepali. Even Google does not have Nepali translation ready to provide with.
We are not English guru but just trying to put one more step towards free knowledge base.

Let's start by introducing yourself.
When you introduce yourself before someone for the first time, you shall say:
Hello, I am Ravi.
OR
Hi, My name is Ravi.
It is always nice to add "nice to meet you" or "glad meeting you".
You can also say "Hello, I am Ravi", "nice to meet you".
It is not good to ask about work, home and family in first talk to newly met people.
Asking about family is fine after getting more closer. However, you can tell more about yourself while asked about yourself during job interviews and in informal gatherings.
